The Korean government has announced to introduce a small part safety requirement listed under the Annex 4 of the Self-Regulatory Safety Confirmation Standard for infant’s textile products.
The regulation will be effective on 27 December 2011. According to this new requirement, parts that detach after tension testing and that can be classified as small parts are not permitted in infant textile products, which are defined as products for children under 36 months old.
