Chinese leading footwear company Anta is investing RMB1 billion in building a new factory in Shangqiu, Henan province, which is one of the 110 newly signed investment projects that totalled RMB31.6 billion in the city.

Shangqiu’s vice mayor Zhang Guowei said during the ceremony that the new investments were attributed to Henan businessmen’s efforts made in recent years and favorable investment environment offered by the Shangqiu city.

Meanwhile, Anta Group also hopes to invest RMB600 million in the Suixian County, another county in Henan province. Both projects are expected to be put into operation in the coming October.
