Chinese Customs statistics revealed that during January to November, China's textile and garment exports hit US$226.15 billion, up by 21.18% year on year.
Of this sum, garment exports saw a year-on-year growth of 19.5% to reach US$139.78 billion, compared with US$116.94 billion in the same period of 2010. In November alone, China exported US$12.36 billion worth of garment, up by 3.49% as compared with US$11.94 billion of November 2010, and up by 1.29% as compared with October of this year (US$12.2 billion).
In the first 11 months of this year, China's textile exports amounted to US$86.37 billion, which registered an increase of 24% as compared with US$69.68 billion in the same period of last year. In November alone, China exported US$8.04 billion worth of textiles, up by 13.5% as compared with US$7.08 billion in November of 2010, and up by 7.87% as compared with October of this year (US$7.45 billion).
